Bhangra Dance Workshop at Queens Public Library – Bellerose Branch

Celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month with Ajna Dance through a lively and interactive Bhangra dance workshop.
Bhangra is a joyful folk dance from the Punjab region of India and Pakistan, originally performed to celebrate harvests. It features strong shoulder movements, big hops, and expressive leaps, all set to the vibrant rhythms of the dhol drum.
This free, in-person event welcomes all ages, kids, teens, adults, and seniors. Come ready to move, have fun, and celebrate culture with us. Balle balle!
