Bhangra Dance Workshop at Queens Public Library – Flushing Branch

Celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month with Ajna Dance at this joyful and energetic Bhangra dance workshop.

Originating in the Punjab region of India and Pakistan, Bhangra is a vibrant folk dance that features strong shoulder movements, big hops, dynamic leaps, and expressive arm choreography. Set to the infectious beats of the dhol drum, this dance is sure to get the whole family moving and smiling.

This free, in-person event is open to all ages, kids, teens, adults, and seniors. Don’t miss this interactive cultural experience. Balle balle!
